Welcome to the Cindy Donahue Library!!

This is  a hub of activity for the kids at school.  Students come to the library one or more times weekly.  Grades 3-4 have a 30 minute session each week focusing on Digital Storytelling.  Some classes have a story read to them and/or will use the computers.   Later, all grades have a teacher led computer and library time once a week.  The students get to choose books and will do a teacher directed lesson at the tables or on the computers or both. 

All students can take books from the library.  The books they select are grade appropriate.   Books are due the following week.  If the student is still reading the book it can be renewed until he or she is done with it.  If there is an area that you'd like to see your child use, let Mrs. LaFrance know and she'll try to guide him/her to it.

Parents can take books from the library as well.  Please stop in to select one or more books that you'd love to read with your child!!

The Used BOOK FAIR will be held on June 8th.

Cindy Donahue was a third grade teacher at Academy Ave.  She had a passion for reading that was absolutely contagious.
